I wish this scene had been left in! Ianto looks perfectly at home in Jack’s bunker.. I like to think he spends just as many nights there as at his own flat. And I love that he’s picking clothes for him. Adorable. I need more scenes like this.
I would have loved to see more domestic stuff. I still feel deprived.

COE killed Ianto and yet as a season it had the best and most couple-like scenes between them!!! HOW THE HELL THAT CAN BE??? WHY RUSSELL DID YOU DO THAT TO US??? How the fucking earth could COE have me over the moon on 301-2-3 and DEAD on 304 (305 doesnot exist for me)

Absolutely. As Lucie’s original tag says, loyalty isn’t a flaw. Should he have hidden Lisa? No. But people will do any number of things to save or help the people they care for. He was young and scared about losing his first love. Of course he made a mistake, but so have every single member of the Torchwood team – some even worse than the events with Lisa. But clearly Jack made the right decision in trusting Ianto and keeping him on the team, because he turns out to be a very capable, intelligent, and loyal member of the team who just got off to a rocky start. That doesn’t make him any less of a BAMF, it just makes him a three-dimensional character. You don’t get to be the favorite character of a very large part of the fandom without depth like this.
Flawless is also just a general tumblr term of endearment, so it wasn’t meant to be completely literal. I know Ianto has flaws, and I love him for it. Flawed characters make for the most fascinating ones. And despite his misstep in hiding a Cyberwoman in the basement, his virtues through the rest of the series vastly outweigh his actions in “Cyberwoman.”
